Young Communitarians of Indian School Muscat took up a noble initiative of serving the needy in the country. ZAKAAT – pure gesture of helping the needy during Ramadhan –the holy month was observed by the YCIS volunteers on April 15th Saturday 2023.














The members distributed food packs containing Basmati rice, wheat, cooking oil, sugar, biscuits, dates and tea bags to many families in and around Musannah region and also in Darsait region on April 19th Wednesday, 2023. The team consisted of 12 student members accompanied by Dr Rajeev Kumar Chauhan, Principal, Mr Joyson, Assistant Vice Principal, Senior Section, Mr Sharafdeen Yousuf SMC, Dr Abdul Rehman SMC and the teacher mentors of the club – Mr Gangadhara Naik, Mrs Romea Shine, Mrs Glincy Antony.
