As part of its annual Zakat outreach, the YCIS Club distributed essential food supplies to approximately 65 families in the Sidab region on 21st February 2026. The initiative aimed to support underprivileged families by providing carefully curated food packages containing staple items necessary for daily sustenance.
The distribution was carried out by 26 dedicated students from the Senior Section, accompanied by the Principal, Vice Principal, Senior Section and supportive teachers who actively participated in the process. The event was conducted with empathy, dignity, and respect, reflecting the values of compassion and solidarity upheld by the YCIS Club.
Recognizing ongoing humanitarian needs, the YCIS Club extended its efforts by distributing food packets to the Zakat and Charity Committee in the Wilayat of Muttrah on 2nd March 2026.
Mr. Abdulzahraa Bin Hassan Al Lawati, Head of the Collection Department in Muttrah, personally visited the school to collect the food supplies. Through this initiative, 91 families received essential food items including rice, flour, cooking oil, tea bags, sugar, powdered milk, pulses, and other necessities.
