Indian School Muscat inaugurated its much-anticipated Winter Strokes – Art Exhibition 2025 on 15th November 2025 at the school Multipurpose Hall, unveiling an impressive collection of over 800 student artworks created across various classes. The inauguration witnessed the esteemed presence of Principal Mr. Rakesh Joshi, Senior Vice Principal Administration, Vice principals, Assistant Vice Principals, Heads of Departments, teachers, students, and parents, all gathered to celebrate this extraordinary showcase of talent and imagination.
The programme began with the Royal Anthem of Oman, followed by the National Anthem of India, creating an atmosphere of reverence, unity, and cultural pride. This was followed by a welcome address that set the tone for the exhibition and highlighted the remarkable creative achievements of the students. A brief video presentation added further vibrancy to the event, demonstrating the diverse skills and artistic flair of the participants.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Saud Nasser Al Hunaini, eminent Omani artist and Vice Chairman, Cultural Club, Oman, who officially opened the exhibition. He praised the students for their outstanding creativity and observed that art transcends boundaries illuminating the exceptional emotional acuity and thoughtful insight woven into their work. He also commended the school’s unwavering commitment to fostering artistic talent and holistic development, emphasizing the significance of platforms like Winter Strokes in nurturing imagination and cultural awareness.
Guest of Honour Dr. Surendra Swami, Director, Board of Directors, Indian Schools, Oman, expressed deep admiration for the students’ creative prowess and congratulated them for their exceptional abilities.
