ANNUAL SPORTS DAY – “LITTLE CHAMPS FEST” 2025

The highly anticipated Annual Sports Meet 2025, "Little Champs Fest 2025", for the Pre-Primary section took place on December 10th, 2025, at the Indian School Muscat grounds, bringing together an exciting blend of energy, joy, and playful competition. Chief Guest of the day Mr. Jatinder Singh, Captain of Oman National Cricket Team, esteemed Directors of The Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman, President Dr. Kiran G R, Vice President, Convener, Treasurer, Co-convener, other members of the school Management committee, our honourable Principal Mr. Rakesh Joshi, Senior Vice Principal Administration, Vice Principals, Assistant Vice Principals of various sections of Indian School Muscat graced the occasion.

The event showcased the energy, confidence, and team spirit of our young children of Balvatika, KG I, and KG II, making it a truly memorable day.

The programme began with a warm welcome speech, extending greetings to the chief guest, parents, teachers, and students. This was followed by the much anticipated Torch Run, symbolizing the spirit of sportsmanship and determination. The children then presented an impressive Band Display, filling the atmosphere with rhythm and pride.

The highlight of the opening sequence was the Marchpast by the Balvatika, KG I, and KG II kids. Their coordinated steps and confident smiles won the hearts of everyone present. The sports events and thematic drills kept the audience engaged throughout the fest:

Ribbity Rabity Bunnies Race: A delightful race where little ones hopped like bunnies, showing agility and joy.
Floats – “Little Athletes, Big Dreams”: Beautifully decorated floats showcased the dreams, hopes, and spirit of our young champions.
Shape Shuffle with Pompom Drill: Children performed a vibrant drill using colorful pompoms, forming shapes and patterns with precision.
Power Trail by Balvatika Kids: The youngest group displayed remarkable energy as they confidently completed the power trail activities.
Wiggle and Giggle Caterpillar Drill: This lively drill brought smiles all around as children moved in caterpillar formations, blending coordination with fun.
Chitter Chatter Race: A cheerful race filled with laughter as kids raced with enthusiasm and excitement.
Moonwalk Marvels: Children amazed the audience with their rhythmic moonwalk steps, showcasing balance and creativity through Michel Jackson Drill display.
Felicitation - The chief guest felicitated the young participants of Balvatika, appreciating their efforts, courage, and sportsmanship.

The programme ended with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to HM Sultan Haitham for his magnanimous benevolence on the Indian community, management, teachers, parents, and students for making the event successful. The day ended on a patriotic note with the Indian National Anthem, filling everyone with pride.
The audience applauded the entire team for their exceptional dedication and passion. The esteemed guests were thoroughly impressed, marveling at the outstanding efforts of the Pre-Primary team in preparing the little ones for this grand achievement.
