The fourth edition of Oman Science Festival 2024 themed ‘Sustainable Resources’ was organised by the Ministry of Education , from 4th November to 11th November at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.25 students of Indian School Muscat including the Head Boy, Vice captains of four houses and Class VII Prefects visited the exhibition along with two teachers.

The renowned institutions and organizations from various sectors took part in the event showcasing their innovation in diverse fields, such as biodiversity, health and life, nuclear research and medicine, wings to space, Nanotechnology, Sustainable agriculture etc.
These sections focused on environmental awareness, sustainable future, environmental challenges, scientific research and innovative projects .Participants demonstrated new scientific innovations like virtual reality , 3D printing technology, Aquaponics, working principle of aircrafts flight control system and so on the demo was based on the importance of conserving nature in Ibn Omaira Theatre.
Military Technology Section displayed their advanced technologies and applications in terms of CCTV, Drone based remote monitoring systems aiding users to find misplaced or specific objects.

This festival provided an opportunity to our students to explore the wonders of science and exchange ideas with the experts. They vibrantly participated in a few fun games and puzzles. It was an enriching experience for our children that ignited their scientific temperament of our students.
