The national Space day highlights the importance of India's ongoing exploration of the Moon’s surface by the rover of spacecraft, Chandrayaan-3, which landed on the Moon on August, 23rd 2023.The following events were conducted to mark the Importance of National space day celebration.

• QUIZ FOR THE STUDENTS OF CLASSES V TO VIII
On 20th August 2024 a Weekly online quiz of Twenty questions for the students of classes V to VIII was conducted with the theme “ Touching Lives while Touching the Moon: India’s Space Saga.”

• SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

National Space day was celebrated in Indian school Muscat on 22nd August 2024.There was a special assembly on the same day which included a Power point presentation on Space exploration of Chandrayan Mission along with ISRO song and a dance performance by the students of classes VI to VIII to pay a tribute to the historic success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission and the incredible feat of landing the Vikram Lander on the moon.

A working model of the Vikram Lander was demonstrated by a student of class 6 during the special assembly.

Many students participated in this programme. The Vice Principal, Assistant vice Principal and Heads of various Departments attended the National Space Day assembly along with the teachers and students of class VIII.

• SPEECH ON PA SYSTEM

Two students of class VII spoke on the PA system about the theme “Touching Lives while Touching the Moon: India’s Space Saga.” during the morning assembly.

• NOTICE BOARD

The notice board at the entrance of the school premises was dedicated with the charts and different materials related to the theme “Touching Lives while Touching the Moon: India’s Space Saga.”

• LINK FOR STDUENTS

The students were asked to login to a link which was posted in the Moodle plat form to do various activities like poster making, drawing, working model. A working model of the Vikram Lander was demonstrated by a student of class 6 during the special assembly.
