The highly anticipated Annual Sports Meet 2024, "Fitness Funfair @50", for the Pre-Primary section took place on December 11th, 2024, at the Indian School Muscat grounds, bringing together an exciting blend of energy, joy, and playful competition. Chief Guest of the day, Mrs. Sarika K Jayaprakasan Chair, staff welfare, grievance and health subcommittee, Indian School Muscat management Committee. The event was attended by Mr. Mohammed Rafi A.A Convener, School Management Committee, Indian School Muscat Principal, Mr Rakesh joshi, Senior Vice Principal (Administration), Vice Principals, Assistant Vice Principals of various sections, Heads of various departments and teachers. The event was filled with vibrant enthusiasm and a fun-filled atmosphere, making it a memorable day for all!
This year, as Indian School Muscat celebrates its Golden Jubilee, the Annual Sports Meet 2024, "Fitness Funfair @50", was even more special. Pre-Primary sports day 2024-25 began with welcome address delivered by assistant sports coordinator Ms. Christine Angeline. The bright and sunny day kicked off with the ceremonial torch run, followed by the lively beats of the Kindergarten Band. The highlight of the opening was the synchronized march-past by the young ones, a heartwarming spectacle to cherish forever.
The event featured captivating races by the KGI children. Each race inspired by classic moral tales like The Hungry Caterpillar, The Sky is Falling, The Fox and the Grapes, The Cap Seller and the Monkeys, The Little Red Riding Hood, The Lazy Grasshopper, and The Goldilocks. Interspersed with these delightful races were the thrilling relay races, including the cap relay and ball relay, which truly stole the show, adding the extra layer ISM@50 excitement to the celebrations!
The grand finale was nothing short of extraordinary, as 100 students participated in an awe-inspiring dance drill display. Their flawless, graceful movements flowed effortlessly with the music, creating an absolutely mesmerizing spectacle that captivated everyone in the audience. It was truly a remarkable and unforgettable performance!
The audience applauded the entire team for their exceptional dedication and passion. The esteemed guests were thoroughly impressed, marveling at the outstanding efforts of the Pre-Primary team in preparing the little ones for this grand achievement. The event was flawlessly executed under the able guidance of the Pre-Primary Vice Principal Mrs. Prema George, leaving everyone in awe of the remarkable precision and brilliance behind it.
Pre-Primary sports day concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by assitant sports coordinator Master.Ansh Chintakumar joshi , followed by Indian National Anthem.
