Indian School Muscat secured the prestigious Best Delegation Trophy at the 23rd Dr. Amidas Goradia International Inter-School online Debate in English held on the 26th and 27th August 27, 2024, competing against 43 schools, including 5 international ones.

The winning ISM team comprised Nihal Bhatt of Grade 12C, Gayathri Amarkumar of Grade 12A, and Afia Tabassum Aleem of Grade 11D. Their exceptional performance not only earned ISM the coveted Best Delegation trophy but also saw Nihal Bhatt recognized as the Best Speaker of the competition, a testament to his eloquence and persuasive skills.

Under the guidance of their coordinating teacher, Ms. Novena Augustine, the team excelled through multiple rounds: Turncoat, Extempore, and Bridge in the preliminaries, advancing to the semi-finals and ultimately winning the final round. This marks ISM's third participation in the competition, where they have consistently earned accolades.
