Indian School Muscat proudly hosted a vibrant series of activities from May 21, to May 29, 2025 in celebration of Bharatiya Bhasha Utsav, an event dedicated to honouring the linguistic diversity and cultural richness of India. Over the course of a week, students engaged in a variety of immersive and educational experiences such as self-introductions, vocabulary building, real-life conversational practice, and cultural appreciation.

Activities included basic greetings in various Indian languages, role plays depicting everyday scenarios, patriotic songs and dances, storytelling based on national heroes and the Armed Forces, tasting local cuisines, and exploring India’s history and geography through regional languages.

These enriching experiences not only broadened the students’ horizons but also strengthened their communication skills and fostered a deep appreciation for India’s unity in diversity. Initiatives like these are instrumental in nurturing confident, culturally aware, and globally prepared individuals rooted in Indian heritage.
