76TH REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION AT INDIAN SCHOOL MUSCAT

Indian School Muscat commemorated the 76th Republic Day of India with great zeal and reverence, hosting a well-curated and memorable event. The NMPH was embellished with striking decorations, creating an ambience brimming with energy and festive spirit. The event was graced by the distinguished presence of Mr. Sherry Johny, Vice President of the Indian School Muscat Management Committee, along with the esteemed members of the committee including Mr. Mohammed Rafi, Convenor, Mr. Mohammed Imran Khan, Treasurer, Dr. Subrahmanian Muthuraman, Chair of the Academic Sub-Committee, Mr. Mithul Asher, Chair of the Co-curricular Sub-Committee, Mrs. Sarika K. Jayaprakasan, Chair of the Welfare Sub-Committee and Mr. Zainudheen C., Chair of the Purchase Sub-Committee. In attendance were the school Principal Rakesh Joshi, Senior Vice-Principal Administration, Vice-Principals, Assistant Vice-Principals, faculty, students, and their parents.

The programme commenced with the soulful rendition of the Indian National Anthem, igniting a deep sense of nationalism in all attendees. Aryan Kishore, Assistant Head Boy of the Senior Section, warmly welcomed the gathering, setting a tone of unity and respect. A deeply inspiring moment ensued as the Chief Guest read poignant excerpts from the President’s message, highlighting the aspirations and visionary leadership that continue to propel India towards progress and prosperity. The ceremony then turned to a moment of sincere recognition, as the long-serving staff members were honoured with cash awards, a tribute to their resolute dedication and invaluable contributions to the institution’s growth and success.

The patriotic song rendered by the school choir reverberated throughout the venue, stirring the hearts of all present and infusing the air with a deep sense of pride and national fervour. The atmosphere was alive with joy, hope, and an overwhelming sense of pride, as these powerful emotions resonated with everyone in attendance. The entrancing digital display, Viksit Bharat@2047, portrayed India's ambitious trajectory towards becoming a developed nation by 2047. This was followed by a dynamic and authentic patriotic dance, which further united the audience in celebration and pride.

A heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Shybi Binoj, Assistant Head Girl of the Senior Section, expressing gratitude to all for making the celebration an outstanding success, marked the culmination of the programme. The 76th Republic Day observance at Indian School Muscat not only paid tribute to India's illustrious history and heritage but also reaffirmed the school's steadfast dedication to fostering a deep sense of patriotism, unity and national pride in the hearts of its students.
