The Pongal and Makar Sankranti Assembly was celebrated by the Pre – Primary students of Indian School Muscat on the online Platform this year on 15th January 2024. The participating students of classes KG I – A and KG I – E, put up a soulful and entertaining show.
The folk lore was vibrant with a harvest backdrop of sugarcanes leaves and Pongal Pots brimming with sweet Pongal. The exuberant dancers won the hearts of the audience as they danced on the traditional instrumental number Pongal - o - Pongal and Udi Udi Jaye.

The Pre – Primary Vice Principal Mrs. Prema George congratulated the class teachers, Mrs. Charu Osahan and Mrs. Sridevi Subramanian, for showcasing an excellent programme.
The Indian School Muscat Principal, Mr. Rakesh Joshi, appreciated the teachers for a wonderful programme and wished the tiny tots a very Happy Pongal and Happy Makar Sankranti.
