National Kindergarten Day marks the birthday of the German educator Friedrich Frobel, who was born on 1782 and started the first kindergarten 1837, in Germany. Frobel described children as plants and teachers as the gardeners.

The Kindergarten Day assembly was held at ISM Jibroo on 21st of April under the able guidance of Pre-Primary Vice Principal Ms. Prema George. Assembly started with introduction of Fredrich Frobel and his first kindergarten. Students did a beautiful action song “when I grow up” where they envisaged their future. Assembly concluded with another breath taking dance for the song “It’s a beautiful day”. The students of KGII B were well trained by their class teacher Ms. Sarah Crasto.

Indian School Muscat, Principal Dr Rajeev Kumar Chauhan relished the assembly and cherished the participants. He also shared his memories back to his Kindergarten days. Well done! KGII B.
