Our students excel not only inside the classroom, but outside as well. Co-curricular activities like Elocutions, Debates, Dramatics, Music, Dance, Quiz, Art, Exhibitions, Hobby Classes, Coaching Camps, Trekking Expeditions and Excursions to India and Egypt have given the children the feeling that ‘the School is the place to be in’.

Prefectorial System

In an effort to catch them young the Prefectorial system in the Primary Section was christened with the name ‘Blossoms’. It fosters in them a spirit of leadership and responsibility. They maintain discipline as well as the movement of the children in the school.

The Prefectorial system in the Middle School was introduced in 1994 and has been very effective ever since. Both boys and girls, from standard V to VIII are selected on the basis of leadership qualities, academic excellence and good behaviour by the Vice-principal and teachers. They are invested in a solemn ceremony by the Principal and the Vice-Principal.

It gives them a chance to step into a wider life beyond this institution. They are a linchpin between the school and the student community.

Scouts and Guides, Cubs and Bulbuls

More than 700 Scouts and about 750 Guides are registered and troop / companies are affiliated to the National Organisation for Scouts and Guides, Oman and the Bharat Scouts and Guides, National Headquarters, New Delhi. The Scouts and Guides Programme is doing wonders by honing the dormant skills through various activities and also moulding our children to be good citizens who will strive to serve their society and country.

The school provides the students various sporting facilities and opportunities to inculcate in them a healthy sportsman spirit. The school teams are a force to reckon with not only in the Sultanate, but also in the Gulf region. Likewise, the school has attained fame and glory for its sporting prowess and sportsmanship. The students by their winning ways continue to guide the school on its winning path.

Value Education

Value Education takes care of the development of the heart as much as it is concerned with the development of the right attitude and values in the students. It aims at developing social competencies in a student to enable him to apply productively whatever he/she learns, for the welfare of humanity. It embodies a respect for life in all its forms, a commitment to responsible behaviour and a dedication to service that spells compassion and justice.

Winter Camp

In order to keep the children productively occupied and also to introduce them to some activities a winter camp is held for the students of Std. IV and above during the mid term break. They are given training in one sports activity and an indoor activity for a period.
